Charles FitzSimons managed a Dublin-based firm and also owned a stake in "The Shamrock Rovers," an eminent Irish soccer team. Maureen FitzSimons was the daughter of Charles FitzSimons. Peggy, Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons completed this lovely family. Maureen excelled as a sportswoman and was a gruelling athlete in games as a child. Her naturally-born interest with her ability for performing was remarkable. She took home almost all Feis Award for Theatre and Drama the country could offer. At the age of 14, she was accepted to the highly acclaimed Abbey Theater and pursued her dreams of classical theatre along with operatic music.
