Katja Herbers has been a professional musician since the age of a girl. She is the daughter of Vera Beths (violinist) and Werner Herbers (oboist). Her childhood was spent in America accompanying her mother on tours with the chamber music group L'Archibudelli. The theatre was where she met her after her father Leonie Poliak and Annerbylsma, a cellist got married.
